Working things out together: Waveform parameters

Learners often know more than they think! When they approach a new topic, they may expect their teacher to tell them about it right from the start. But there is often an effective alternative.
Watch learners on the video clip working together to combine their guesses, their fragmented pieces of prior knowledge and their intuition and coming up with some answers.
The learner activity offers a way of introducing this topic and illustrates an approach that can be usefully adapted to other topics, too.
