Co-operative learning and literacy, language and numeracy (LLN)
Co-operative learning offers particularly good opportunities for learners to develop their speaking and listening skills.
This is especially valuable for IT learners who might otherwise spend excessive amounts of time reading from a computer screen. Some IT learners feel more comfortable working alone at their computer than communicating with others, so you may need to help them see the benefits. Remind them that employers value communication skills just as much as technical skills.
