Where should the carrots be planted?

The co-operative featured in the Using IT to develop a farm enterprise multimedia presentation own land, but also rent additional land when required. Before they agree to rent land they investigate whether it's suitable for their crop, mainly through online research.

This activity challenges learners to carry out similar research and present their findings. Used as a problem solving and planning activity, it also gives learners an opportunity to explore data available on the internet.
