Case study planner
In this video learners reflect on the value of role play to consolidate learning. As you listen to their comments, consider how you could adapt the approach to meet the specific needs of your learners. What challenges have you faced in using role play? What would you do differently?

Before developing specific case study activities it can be helpful, as a teaching team, to look at your curriculum as a whole and plan how and when you are going to use case studies.
Consider the following as you plan your approach:
- Which curriculum areas will be covered?
- What are the learning objectives?
- How can I include learners in developing case studies?
- How will the learning be assessed?
- What active learning strategies will I use to to support this approach?
- What resources can I use or adapt?
